Welcome to More Than Camps. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a place on any More Than Camps program. By booking a camp, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are not the parent or legal guardian of the participant, you must obtain parental consent before booking. By registering a minor, the parent or guardian confirms acceptance of these Terms on the participant’s behalf.

1. Information About Us

More Than Camps is operated by More Than Camps, headquartered in Tenerife, Spain.

2. Key Definitions

  • You / Your: The person booking or arranging the booking (parent, guardian, or authorised adult).

  • Participant: The athlete attending the camp.

  • Authorised Adult: Parent or legal guardian of a participant.

  • Booking: Your confirmed registration for a camp, including deposit or full payment.

  • Camp: Any residential or day program offered by More Than Camps.

  • Airport Transfer: Transfers organised by More Than Camps between Tenerife airports and the camp venue.

  • Athlete Information Form: Form completed by parent/guardian providing medical and emergency information.

3. Eligibility & Age Groups

  • Camps are designed for athletes aged 10 and over, depending on the specific program.

  • Participants under 16 may only register with parental consent.

  • Age groups for training sessions will be organised to ensure safety, appropriate skill levels, and the best coaching experience.

  • We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time. Parents remain responsible for their child’s conduct, participation, and welfare.

4. Communications & Newsletter Subscription

By subscribing to our newsletter or providing your contact details, you consent to receive communications related to:

  • Camp dates, openings, and waitlists

  • Mentorship and leadership programs

  • Athlete features and exclusive content

  • Mindset, leadership, and performance resources

  • Opportunities for athletes, parents, coaches, and clubs

Parental consent is required for participants under 16. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in emails.

5. Media, Image & Testimonial Consent

By attending any More Than Camps program, participants (or their parent/guardian) consent to photographs, video recordings, and written testimonials being used for:

  • Marketing and promotional purposes

  • Educational materials

  • Online platforms and social media

If you do not wish for your child to be included, you must notify us in writing or opt out in the Athlete Information Form before the start of the camp. 

6. Making a Booking & Payment

  • After submitting your booking, we will send an Order Processing Email confirming your booking.

  • Check the Email carefully and notify us immediately if anything is incorrect.

Participants will not be allowed to attend unless full payment has been received.

Airport Transfers (for applicable camps):

  • Must be pre-booked and confirmed.

  • Notify More Than once travel arrangements have been made via email.

  • Parents are responsible for travel arrangements, including airline fees or unaccompanied minor services.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

To cancel, email phoebe@mentorshipofchamps.com.

Refund Policy:

  • 60+ days before camp: Full refund minus €300 deposit for Canary Islands camps, & €150 for all other EU and Swiss camps including pop up camps.

  • 30–60 days before camp: 50% refund.

  • Less than 30 days: No refund; credit may be offered at our discretion.

  • In case of cancelation due to not reaching minimum numbers, full refund will be issued to families.

Force Majeure / Camp Cancellation:

  • We may cancel or postpone camps due to unforeseen events (weather, safety, low enrolment).

  • In such cases, a voucher for a future camp will be provided.

  • If cancelled due to government or health restrictions (e.g., COVID-19), a full refund will be issued.

Travel Delays:

  • Delayed or missed flights are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

8. Travel, Airport Transfers & Parent Attendance

  • Recommended arrival: Saturday before camp; departures: at camp end day (Tenerife camp).

  • For Tenerife camps, parents may purchase a Parent Day Pass (€50): includes unlimited drinks, snacks, meals, pool & chill-out access, and watching training.

  • Short visits are allowed only in designated zones.

  • Parents are responsible for travel, travel insurance, and visas (if required).

9. Medical, Insurance & Welfare

  • An Athlete Information Form must be completed before arrival. All medical information, allergies, and treatments must be disclosed.

  • Camp Insurance: Covers supervised activities.

  • Parent/Guardian Insurance: Must cover emergency care, repatriation, and travel interruptions.

  • First aid is provided by qualified staff; parents cover any medical costs outside camp insurance.

  • For serious emergencies, we act in the child’s best interest and notify the parent/guardian when possible.

  • All medical expenses outside of Camp Insurance are the possibility of the athlete/athlete guardian.

10. Safety, Conduct & Child Welfare

  • Participant safety and wellbeing are our priority.

  • All activities occur in supervised, designated areas.

  • Misconduct, unsafe behavior, or harassment may result in removal from camp without refund.

  • Parents are responsible for any additional costs incurred.

11. Liability

  • Participation involves inherent risks; by registering, you acknowledge and accept them.

  • More Than Camps is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage unless caused by negligence of our staff.

  • Personal items are the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Lost or damaged items are not covered.

12. Packing & Equipment

Athletes must bring:

  • Training clothing

  • Personal items and toiletries (Tenerife camp)

  • Travel documents (passport, tickets) (Tenerife camp)

  • Any required medication

13. Intellectual Property

  • All More Than Camps content, training materials, and branding are protected by copyright.

  • No reproduction or commercial use is allowed without written consent.

14. Data Protection & Privacy

  • We comply with GDPR and Spanish data protection laws.

  • Personal information is used only for operational and communication purposes.

  • Data will not be sold or shared without consent.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.

  • Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of Spanish courts.
